Barbecue Recipes for Hack's BBQ Sauce

Baby Back Ribs

1 Rack Baby Back Ribs ¼ Cup Hack's BBQ Sauce
1 Tbsp Tart Cherry Juice Concentrate ½ Tsp Oregano
½ Tsp Basil ¼ Tsp Thyme
¼ Cup Water  
Remove the membrane on the back of the ribs and place in a large zip lock bag. Add cherry juice and seasonings to the bag, seal, and mix until juice and seasonings are uniformly spread. Marinate in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Remove ribs from the bag and place in a roasting pan with the marinade and the water. Cover the pan and place in the oven at 250° for 4 hours. Remove ribs from pan and place on a heated grill at 350°. Brush on the Hack's BBQ Sauce and cook for about 10 minutes.

Hack's Chili

2 lbs ground beef ¼ Cup Hack's BBQ Sauce
1 can diced tomatoes (28oz) 2 oz Jack Daniels
1 can pinto beans (15oz) 1 Tbsp black pepper
½ cup red wine 1 tsp each of ground cumin, oregano, garlic powder and salt
Brown the meat and put in a dutch oven. Add the rest of the ingredients, stir, and simmer on low heat for 2-1/2 hours. This makes a very spicy chili…even without the peppers and onions!

Serve with cornbread.

Hack's Baked Beans

2 cans of northern white beans  
2 cups Hack's BBQ Sauce  
1 lb sliced bacon  
¼ cup water  
In a skillet, fry the bacon and drain on a paper towel. Drain the beans and place them in a dutch oven with the water and Hack’s BBQ Sauce. Crumble the bacon and add it to the dish mixing well. Cover and bake at 275°F for 2-1/2 hours. Stir beans and cook, uncovered, until the desired consistency is achieved.

This is the simplest recipe ever for baked beans, but you'll be amazed at how great this side dish will taste!

Sloppy Joe's

1 Lbs. Ground Beef 1 Cup Hack's BBQ Sauce
½ Cup Pickle Relish ⅓ Cup Water
In a skillet, brown the ground beef and drain the fat. Add the BBQ sauce, relish and water. Mix well and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes. Serve on a hamburger bun with a slice of your favorite cheese.

Easy Pulled Pork

2 Lbs Country Style Pork Ribs 2 Cups Hack's BBQ Sauce
Rinse the ribs to remove any sawdust and place in a roasting pan. Add water to the pan, cover, and place in the oven at 250° for 4 hours. When done, the meat will easily pull away from the bones with a fork. Place the pulled pork in a bowl and add 1 cup of the BBQ sauce and mix well. Then add the remaining sauce to taste. Serve on a hamburger bun. Makes 6-8 sandwiches.

Rich's Famous Beef Brisket

1¾ Lbs. Beef Brisket 2 Cups Hack's BBQ Sauce
1 Tbsp Salt 1 Cup Water
1 Tbsp Olive Oil  
Mix the salt and 1/2 cup of the Hack's BBQ Sauce and rub it into the meat by hand like you would a dry rub. Marinate overnight in the refrigerator. To cook, put the olive oil in a dutch oven and place on high heat. Sear the meat for 5 minutes on each side. Mix the water and the remaining Hack's BBQ Sauce and pour it in the dutch oven. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 3 hours.

Margaret's Meatloaf

1 Lbs Ground Beef or Meat Loaf Mix 1 Tbsp Hack's BBQ Sauce
1½ Cup Italian Seasoned Breadcrumbs 1 Egg
1 Tsp Ketchup ¼ - ½ Tsp Salt
¼ - ½ Tsp Salt ⅓ - ½ Cup Water
Mix all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Shape into a loaf in a baking pan. Bake at 350° for 70 minutes .

French Dressing

⅔ Cup Mayonnaise 1 Tbsp Hack's BBQ Sauce
½ Cup Ketchup  
Whisk all ingredients until uniform and store in the refrigerator overnight. For Thousand Island Dressing, add a tablespoon of pickle relish!

Hack's Party Dip

⅓ cup Hack's BBQ Sauce  
8 oz cream cheese  
6 Tbsp chopped celery  
Soften cream cheese. Mix all ingredients together and serve with crackers. For a sweet change of pace, substitute dried tart cherries for the celery.
